At first glance it looks as if this family of swans are sitting on a patch of green grass enjoying the sunshine.
But these plucky parents and their young cygnets are actually swimming their way through a sea of weed which turned their watery home into a marshland virtually overnight.
The weed made swimming difficult for the young birds which forced their mother to clear a path through the thick algae.
