Dev: “I was a 17-year-old kid. I didn’t really know where I was going to end up,” he says. “And this film sort of fell in my lap. It feels like destiny in a way. Even now, the film winning the Oscar is very surreal. The character’s given me so much, not only as an actor but as a person. I remember when production began, I was a ball of nerves, didn’t really know how to work in front of a camera or how to express myself. I was a lot more introverted. And Danny Boyle came along – and this incredible city, which taught me about being an optimist. I feel I can hold my head up high now. I feel like I matured five years in the space of five months. I’m 18 and I was at the Oscars yesterday!”Freida: “I was struggling. I was presenting this travel show. I was coming to the end of it and had enjoyed the nine months of traveling. I was like, Oh, now my life’s over. I’m not going to have anything interesting to do. I was frustrated that I hadn’t found the right project. But now I think that the fruit of the struggle ends up being the sweetest taste possible. I mean, this is strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, apples, bananas – the sweetest fruits in the world put together. It changed my life. It made me grow. It’s made me equipped to brave challenges in the future. You can’t predict the future, but I do have this optimism and this hope that if I just continue dreaming and continue working the same way, then I’ll be unstoppable.”

Publika se odvikla od bioskopa. Bilo im je nekako neprijatno prilikom scene seksa koji se i ne vidi. Sinoc sam videla svoje profesore, svoje koleginice profesorice i pr-ove, neke ljude koje godinama nisam videla, ali ih srecem na desavanjima tipa otvaranje izlozbe, BG pozorisna premijera, koncert – jedan u 10 godina.
Za film `Revolucionarni put` je vezana jaka veza Kaprio-Vinslet, sto znaci da bi trebalo da bude romanticno i `ahhh, dajte mi maramice` na kraju.
Medjutim, mnogi su bili i razocarani, pa onda zapanjeni. Film po principu `sta joj bi, fina zena, fin muz, deca, lepa kuca, velika…a da tako zavrsi, zasto?` je iznenadio mnoge, a i ovako ih iznenadi. Pune su crne hronike takvih slicnih slucajeva.
Secate se `Hours` ili npr ` American beauty`? Praznina lako puca. Zivot nikada nije ispunjen ako mu bar nesto nedostaje. A njoj, liku kog tumaci britanska oskarovka, nedostaje sve. Ona nema ni karijeru, ni ljubav kakvu zeli, ima lepu veliku kucu, lepu decu, ali nema sebe. Zeli nesto, zeli bilo sta, da pocne da zivi, da bar plasticno promeni svet oko sebe i sebe u svetu.
Pariz i taj revolucionarni put do Pariza je izgledao kao ventil ili mozda kao putovanje koje bi trajalo, a ljudi su na putovanjima rastereceni, uvek novi kada se vrate kuci, a oni nije zelela da se vrati.
Oskarovka je mozda dobila vitkog Oskara za drugu ulogu, taj film jos nisam uspela da vidim, ali ja bih joj licno udelila svog intimnog Oskara za ovu. Treba uci u zivot nezadovoljnih ili prividno zadovoljnih, jer oni nisu ni sami svesni da li su ili nisu, niti znaju kako da saznaju jesu li ili nisu. Kate je usla u ulogu, u mozak takve osobe, ali je igra opasna. Mozete lako otriti mnogo toga o sebi gledajuci takvu revolucionarnu glumu.

The Independent Spirit Awards (originally known as the FINDIE or Friends of Independents Awards), founded in 1984, are awards dedicated to independent filmmakers.Winners were typically presented with acrylic glass pyramids containing suspended shoestrings representing the paltry budgets of independent films. In 1986, the event was renamed the Independent Spirit Awards. The Independent Spirit Awards are presented by Film Independent, a non-profit organization dedicated to independent film and independent filmmakers. In 2007 the ceremony was slightly changed to Film Independent's Spirit Awards. Since 2006, winners have received a trophy depicting a bird sitting atop of a pole with the shoestrings from the previous design wrapped around the pole.
The awards show is held inside a tent on the beach in Santa Monica, California, usually on the day before the Academy Awards (since 1999; originally the Saturday before). Since 1994, the show has been broadcast on the Independent Film Channel.
The 2009 awards took place on February 21, 2009.

Ali…sve sto je prazno lako puca. Posle velikih imena koje ste pustili na vasim novim fancy lap top-ovima, doslo je vreme da se pusti nesto za dusu. A i gazde lokala…prodaju se lako. Dala bi im `Fausta` na poklon. Ne treba puno da se od `urbanog novog mesta` napravi sajmiste krestavih folkera. Za koje pare? Za VELIKE, bate!
Zagadjivaci lako zagadjuju, Srbija nije pronasla ili ne zeli nacin da se oslobodi napasti. Ljudi vole, daj ljudima, uzmi im paru. Neka svaki lokal, svako newly opened place postane preko noci poligon za narodnjake. Sutra ce se tu organizovati i audicija za Grand. Sto da ne? Pa ja cu prva da dodjem i gledam. Mozda ce i neko od gazdi lokala i urbanih sugradjana isproba svoju srecu i na Pinku? Zivot je jedan.
Ali ne zaboravite, mi smo urban grad i vi isto u Beogradu ste urbani koliko i mi, svi mi zivimo u urbanoj zemlji. I vi gore u Novom Sadu. Urbani smo u….

"Stejt of Egzit" potvrdio: Madona 24. avgusta na Ušću
Svetska pop diva Madona nastupiće 24. avgusta na beogradskom Ušću, u okviru nastavka svoje megauspešne turneje "Sticky and Sweet" , najavili su danas organizatori koncerta producenstki tim "Stejt of Egzit". Prodaja karata za dugo očekivani veliki spektakl na Ušću počeće 27. februara putem internet sajtova Gigstix.com i Exitfest.com, a dogovoreni kapacitet koncerta je 50.000 ljudi.
Cene ulaznica su 2.990 i 3.990 dinara za parter, 6.990 dinara za fan pit, dok je cena limitiranih VIP ulaznica 9.990 dinara. Organizatori očekuju veliko interesovanje, naročito što su mnogi koncerti po Evropi već rasprodati, pa generalni menadžer Egzit tima Bojan Bošković smatra da će mnogi koji nisu uspeli da dođu do ulaznica u Londonu ili Parizu, to učiniti kog nas. "Red hot čili pepersa" u Inđiji, biti izbegnuti, direktor marketinga Miloš Ignjatović je rekao da je Ušće odličan prostor za jedan ovakav spektakl, ima odličan pristup i neće biti problema oko dolaska na koncert. Očekuje se da Madonin nastup u Beogradu bude isti kao njeni dosadašnji nastupi u okviru turneje - koncert se sastoji iz četiri dela, tokom kojih Madona menja kostime, koreografiju, numere su prilagođene scenografiji, a prati je 16 plesača i 12 članova benda. Specijalni gost koncerta biće britanski di-džej Pol Okenfol, a predstavnici Egzit tima su najavili "perfektno organizovanu, pravu pozorišnu predstavu u kojoj je muzika samo platforma, što i čini Madonu najprodavanijim ženskim izvođačem svih vremena".

The 24-year-old from Bangor capped a remarkable year by taking home awards in the Best British Female Singer, Best British Breakthrough Act and Best Album categories. Her debut album, Rockferry, was released in March 2008 and went on to sell five million copies worldwide.

While still remarkably slim, the 35-year-old model said she can finally fit into a B-cup bra after her chest began filling out. She said: 'I’ve just started wearing bras. It’s a miracle. Not today, but I have been. Great timing for my (Topshop) lingerie collection.

Taped during Hayek's humanitarian mission to Sierra Leone to raise awareness about maternal neonatal tetanus last October, the actress – who gave birth to her own baby daughter Valentina on Sept. 21, 2007 – casually takes another mother's baby boy into her arms and begins to feed him. "She saw this baby suffering from malnutrition and she was still lactating from having had her own baby. She felt, 'Why can't I help this child out?' " says a source familiar with the situation."The mother was malnourished and didn't have the necessary nutrients. She wasn't lactating. She was a frail woman, so Salma wanted to help her out," says the source. "She didn't think anything bad of it. She thought she was doing good for the child."
